PRE BOOKING INFORMATION


WORKING CONDITIONS/LOCATION

The safety of ourselves and others is of the utmost importance to us. 

For this reason we cannot work at the following locations: 


CAR PARKS - We are not permitted to work in car parks. This presents great risk of trip hazards to members of the public and is against council regulations. Public liability insurance will not cover this type of accident. 


THE SIDE OF THE ROAD - If you have limited parking at your home unfortunately we cannot work on the side of the road. This presents great danger to us getting hit by a car or causing an accident by distracting other motorist. Public liability insurance will not cover this type of accident. 


ANY PUBLIC WALKWAY OR FOOTPATH - This presents great risk of trip hazards to members of the public and is against council regulations. Public liability insurance will not cover this type of accident. 


If you think your location may be an issue please provide us photos prior to booking day or contact us and we can arrange something.

PREPARING FOR YOUR BOOKING


On the day of booking we need access to your power and water. Please ensure we have clear access to power and water on the day. If access is an issue please let us know prior so we can make arrangements to cater to your needs.


Agreed arrival time: On arrival we expect you to be at location, please be courteous and respect our time. If for some reason we are running late, We will contact you. 


Personal Items - Please remove all personal belongings from vehicle. It is important that you get rid of personal belongings and rubbish from vehicle. The more time we spend cleaning up rubbish and moving personal items around, the less time we are able to spend detailing your vehicle. Receipts and documents that are left in vehicle may end up the bin. We can remove personal belongings and put them aside or in a bag for you to sort through at an additional cost.


Baby Seats - Please remove baby seats if you wish for us to clean or leather condition rear seats. If baby seats are left in vehicle we will just wipe and vacuum around them. 


Seat Covers -  If you would like your seats vacuumed, shampooed or leather conditioned please have seat covers removed prior to our arrival. We find the most effective way to clean seat covers is by putting them through the washing machine. 

PAYMENT POLICY / CANCELLATION POLICY & PRICING


All bookings are to be paid on the day of appointment. We accept Cash and Card. Bank transfer will only be accepted if completed prior to our departure. If no payment received a late fee will accumulate weekly.

Invoices are provided for all jobs completed. 


Please advise of cancellation of booking as soon as possible. All full day bookings cancelled without at least 24hrs prior notice may incur a cancellation fee. If no fee charged we will require a booking deposit for future appointments. 


Final price will vary depending on vehicle condition and how long it takes us to complete.

Please remove personal belongings before arrival to avoid additional costs.

AFTERCARE INFORMATION


How should I wash my car?

If you haven't before, we strongly recommend using the 'Two bucket method' when washing your car. This will help reduce swirls and marring. 1 bucket for washing and 1 bucket for rinsing your wash mitt to get rid of dirt. Check YouTube for walk throughs on the method if you are unsure. 

Can I use a drive through car wash?

We personally don't recommend using drive through car washes as they damage and scratch your paint as well as damaging any form of paint protection you may have applied to your vehicle. Self serve car washes are fine to use as long as you bring your own wash mitt and buckets, we don't recommend using any sort of cleaning brushes / brooms provided at these locations.


What do I need to do after my vehicle has had paint protection applied?

The vehicle needs to stay dry for the first 24 hours. Ideally you need to wait a week before cleaning the vehicle with any soaps.

Your vehicle should not be polished after being coated as this will void warranty as well as damage the Coating. Applying non-abrasive waxes or gloss enhancers is fine.
